Pay It Forward Day : The Burgetts

Today is Pay it forward day

We believe that acts of kindness will change the world for the better. On April 28th countries across the world will unite with one common goal: to stand for kindness, together. After beginning in Australia, the holiday now spreads love and happiness in over 85 countries. It may only lasts 24 hours, but we hope Pay It Forward Day inspires your community to #standforkindness all year long!

For my random act of kindness I decided to shoot maternity photos for my dear friend Jenn Burgett. Jenn is an incredibly strong woman and in a matter of months she lost both her mother and her father. Since hearing the news I've racked my brain trying to figure out a way to share love and kindness to her family. Then it hit me. Photos celebrating growth, love and family might be just what this beautiful new family needs. 

So I called in some favors and got us access to the community gardens at Lynchburg Grows and went to town. Jayden had the time of his life exploring the houses while we took photos of his mother. My hope is that these images will bring them joy and encouragement on those hard days as they journey through life together. What a beautiful act of love and kindness that God brought Jenn & Brandon together. I pray that they continue to be wonderful parents to Jayden and little Henry Augustus. Can't wait to meet him!
