Hidden Fonts on Canva
Within a Canva pro account you have the ability to upload your own fonts to the back end of Canva, but you can also search for secret fonts. In this post, I'm going to show you how to uncover some of these incredible fonts within your Canva account.
To get started, select the template of your choice and then locate photos on the far left hand side. Now you would think to find hidden fonts you would select text, but that's not how this is set up in the back end of Canva.
When you select photos, and you type in the keywords into the search bar, essentially what it's revealing is photos of individual letters. You would take these elements that have a transparent background, and drag them onto the template to create the design of your choice. So you could create a monogram, you could spell out a word, you could just use one letter by itself, but this is just one example of hidden fonts within Canva.
Another way that you can find fonts within Canva is under the Elements tab. If you click on elements and then scroll down to select see all the side frames, it's going to show you some very unique frames. If you continue to scroll, they will reveal letters that are essentially photo frames just like everything else that you can use to spell out things for your design by taking an image, and simply dropping it into a frame. All you have to do is drag it, and it's going to create this look, then you can also play around with textures so if you were to select marble, for instance, you can give this letter some texture by dropping in a marble image. So play around with dropping in photos into the letter photo frames.
Now the last one that I want to show you is technically numbers and not just fonts. If you select elements and you type in 3d balloon numbers. This is going to reveal cutouts that look like inflatable balloons. So, if you hit milestones within your business you hit 10k on Instagram or 100K on YouTube. Select the 3d Balloon numbers within the Elements tab and once you drop in one number, you'll see under magic recommendations and see all, it will reveal the rest of the numbers. You can utilize this to create any combination of numbers that you would like.
I want to encourage you, within your Canva pro account, to play around with the search bar under photos and elements to reveal more fonts.
